TreeTops goes public
Happy new year, I suppose, though the recent events affecting coastlines in Asia would suggest this year is already off to a bad start.
TreeTops was my private blog in 2004. I used it as an electronic scratch-pad to record thoughts, in case I forgot them. Mostly technical in nature. An electronic version of the yellow sticky pads that are so popular, though somehow my work area is still covered in stickies.
In 2005, I’m putting the blog on the Web. This will be your view of a set of my notes. I’ll avoid deleting them. I won’t accept comments. This is for the same reasons that I don’t encourage my workmates to scribble on my stickies in the office.
Finally, as a European, my notes will be in International English rather than the variant preferred by Americans. I make no apology for this!
