Thunderbird 1.0 is not 100%

A little experimentation with the recently released Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 email client reveals that while it looks good, it is still not reliable enough to trust your business to it. My virus protection software doesn’t like it, and there are times when the app just freezes. Then there’s the lack of MAPI and a few other widgets in Outlook I rather like (and have come to rely on). After all, what would we do without calendaring? So I’m sticking with Outlook for the foreseeable future.
